The objective of the Milan demonstration site will be to provide flexibility to the distribution system thanks to the cooperation between the various group companies involved in the project.
In particular, ACS will make the Canavese plant available for the supply of flexibility, which involves the portion of the network that is managed by Unareti. In parallel, all the algorithms necessary for field testing of the solution will be developed by A2A in collaboration with RSE.
During the project, various use cases will be simulated and tested that will impact the electricity and district heating networks of the north-eastern area of the city of Milan. Currently the participants involved in the demo are analyzing in detail the different use cases in order to be able to indicate the necessary characteristics of the tools in order to best implement the test.
