The demonstration will take place at three DHC assets located in Milan, Ljubljana and Paris, involving several conversion and storage technologies and using improved planning and control algorithms, with the constraint of heating and cooling satisfaction.

Two follow-up real case studies, relying on existing DHC infrastructure with operational data, will be used to simulate SENERGY NETS improved strategies and use cases in a different geographical and economic context (Västerås-Sweden, Cordoba-Spain), using additional technologies (e.g., biomass and waste CHP), enlarging the proven possibilities to decarbonize the heat sector.
